Technological Solutions
Water Pumps
To maintain a constant flow of clean and oxygenated water in our RAS system, we use three powerful water pumps, each with a capacity of 55,000 liters per hour. Designed for reliability and durability, these pumps ensure a stable and secure environment for fishes.
Mechanical Filtration
Our RAS system employs a drum filter to remove large particles from the water, ensuring it remains clean and healthy for fishes. This highly efficient filter requires minimal maintenance.
Biological Filtration
In our RAS system, we utilize bio-balls with nitrifying bacteria to convert toxic ammonia into nitrates, which are less harmful to fishes. Our system has a capacity of 20 cubic meters, allowing for optimal fishes growth.
Additional Filtration
To guarantee that the water is entirely clean and safe for fishes, we employ supplementary UV lamps that destroy bacteria and viruses present in the water. These lamps are crucial for maintaining a hygienic environment for sturgeons.
Monitoring Water Quality
Daily checks on oxygen and temperature, visual water level supervision, and weekly tests for nitrates, nitrites and pH ensure top-quality caviar. Monthly monitoring includes chlorine and carbon dioxide levels.
